Product Info

Features

  • Baer’s Eradi Speed Plus Rotors are custom-cast to replace your year, make and model’s stock discs
  • The groundbreaking 2-pieces Eradi Speed Plus Rotors deliver responsive braking power without the excessive weight of old-fashioned 1-piece rotors
  • The Eradi Speed Plus Rotors are sectional—the outer disc is crafted from a rugged blend of iron, and the inner hub is CNC machined from lightweight aluminum
  • With their zinc-washed outer discs and black anodized center hub, your Eradi Speed Plus Rotors add jaw-dropping style to your automobile
  • Baer’s proprietary iron formula provides increased friction with low wear
  • Increased mass along the firepath (where the pads rub against the rotors) adds a more substantial heat sink for intense durability under even the most grueling conditions
  • The innovative curved directional vanes in your Eradi Speed Plus Rotors move fresh air across the face of the discs to vent heat and improve cooling
  • The Eradi Speed Plus Rotors utilize a reverse rotational slotting and cross-drilling pattern—the standard design for racecars the world over
  • Cross-drilling and slotting not only enhance your auto’s image, they nearly eliminate outgassing, pad glazing and excessive brake dust accumulation
  • Your Eradi Speed Plus Rotors are slotted and cross-drilled to improve bad weather braking, to equalize pad surface wear and to add an aggressive initial bite to your brakes
  • Holes are cross-drilled behind the vanes to prevent any hairline fractures while maintaining high structural integrity
  • The surface of your Eradi Speed Plus Rotors are zinc plated to ward off rust and surface scales—it’s normal for this finish to wear off along the firepath after 300-400 miles of regular braking
  • These direct replacement rotors don’t require larger or wider wheels, and you don’t have to bleed your brakes during installation
  • Built with pride in the USA
  • Baer backs your Eradi Speed Plus Rotors with a Lifetime Warranty against warping

Description

Strip the dead weight off your vehicle—swap out your hefty stock brakes with the 2-piece Eradi Speed Plus Rotors. Their center hubs are CNC machined from lightweight aluminum, which is anodized with a sleek black finish. These “hats” are then bolted to the zinc-washed iron discs using NAS approved stainless fasteners—the same used on Indy Cars. This marriage of metals bolsters your braking power without the excessive bulk of 1-piece rotors.

Your Eradi Speed Plus Rotors are custom-cast to replace your stock discs. Once on, you’ll enjoy the aggressive grip, equalized wear and improved wet weather performance that comes from the Eradi Speed Plus Rotors’ reverse rotational cross-drilling and slotting pattern. This racecar-inspired look also enhances your mean machine’s visual impact.

You won’t have to worry about your Eradi Speed Plus Rotors overheating. Their thicker firepath and curved directional vanes ensure rapid thermal recovery. They’re backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

Manufacturer Info

Baer Racing, Inc.
Baer Racing, Inc. was established in 1986. Founder Hal Baers technical and analytical skills, coupled with a keen ability to spot people with strong, diverse talents and assemble them into a cohesive team, has, and continues to be, Baer Racings greatest strength, both on and off the track.

Baers corporate resume includes highlights such as designing and building the highly successful Pro-Search Mustangs for the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving and preparing the chassis, brakes, and safety equipment for Car Craft Magazines "Project 200 Mustang." Baer has developed and managed major projects for a variety of automotive publishers. In addition, Baer has performed testing and/or built custom performance brake systems or components for Ford Motor Company, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Corvette Group, GMC, Lincoln Mercury, Mitsubishi, Pontiac and Volvo of North America. We have also provided special development services to such notable and varied aftermarket leaders as Vortech Engineering, HKS USA, Roush Performance, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, Foose Design, Hotchkis, Steilow Engineering, Kenne-Bell, Posies, ACC, Toyo Tire, RennTech, OGara-Hess & Eisenhart, Mallett Motorsports and others.

In racing, we have won in SCCA Escort, Corvette Challenge, World Challenge, as well as IMSA Firehawk and several classes of amateur competition. Baer had the distinction of winning more Corvette Challenge races than any single car and driver in the two years of the series. Baer was also the first Mustang, and the only team without Factory support to sit on the pole, set lap records, or win races in World Challenge competition.

It was during the second year of Corvette Challenge competition (1989) that Baer had the chance to participate in developmental testing and provide feedback on the Corvettes brake system under racing conditions to engineers from Corvette Group, Delco and PBR. At this time Baer first conceived the idea to adapt the PBR calipers to other applications. In late 1989, Baer did a FOX chassis Mustang adaptation with PBR calipers as a custom one-off fabrication. Although nearly twice as expensive as todays production versions of Baer Claw and regular Mustang systems, demand continually developed within the Mustang enthusiast community for the performance solution Baers systems delivered.

In late 1992, Baer ran a few modest advertisements. These produced a tremendous response from a wide mix of enthusiasts seeking integrated, bolt-on performance brake packages. In response, Baer was forced to look at beginning real production of their FOX Mustang brake system. To that end, following the 1993 race season, Hal Baer partnered with Todd Gartshore and Robert Sommers to form Baer Racing, Inc.

Today, Baer offers over 150 brake system applications designed so the enthusiast is not required to do any welding or fabrication to successfully perform the installation. No other company in the performance brake market offers systems featuring the same level of completion. And none offers more variations to meet customers specific performance requirements. At Baer, brakes are our only business. Being singularly focused allows us to design, test and constantly improve our systems. Surgeons do not give haircuts and Baer does not build engines. This singular focus leaves us better prepared to deliver proper brake systems and products than companies who offer everything from exhaust systems to body styling packages.
