All-new virtual reality design system allows engineers to design exhaust systems in virtual space that will meet all necessary design criteria. Key interference and mounting points are captured and then transferred into a engineering computer station. Tube routings, lengths, and diameters can all be manipulated for proper fit and function. The exhaust looks beautiful and fits great. I had one issue with the passenger side header barely touching the frame. I had to give it a little dimple so it wouldn’t rattle. Other than that the installation went smoothly. I waited to write a review until I took it out on a trip. First the exhaust sounds great. It has a nice throaty sound that does not drone in the cab. Second I noticed a nice increase in power. The truck did not downshift climing several hills that it used to downshift on. Finally I noticed an increase in MPG. It was a small difference, but hey, with gas being $4 a gallon any improvement is GREAT!!”

Rear-most header bolt on driver side was the only time consuming hang-up. I forgot to put my dipstick tube back in place before firing it up the first time, so I covered the passenger side of the engine compartment with oil spatter, I recommend not making that same mistake… They look great, sound better!! Already had a Gibson cat-back system I previously installed, they make a great combination!!!”

Did not come with steering column bolt as directions stated, but I think I would have just shaved stock steering column bolt anyway instead of replacing with new bolt. (Newport News,VA) “the system was very easy to install even working on jack stands as i did……took 4-5 hrs to install ( iam 60+ yrs old)….the problems i encountered, not enough room to use an torque wrench on some of the exhaust header bolts…..but were accessable with open end wrench……reistalling the muffler pipe was a bit of trouble but with lubing the rubber hangers with plenty of lube helped….over all the kit was enjoyable to install and an noticable increase in performance is noticeable…….excellexnt system….would recommend dynatech headers to others looking for an tuned pipe header system … tks”

(Raleigh,NC) “After some research I decided to purchase the Dynatech SuperMAXX Headers and Exhaust System to install on my 04 Chevy Silverado (1500 5.3L V8). Before I say anything about the system, I would like to congratulate AutoAnything for its prompt delivery and having the lowest price available and the free shipping was a definite plus. The Dynatech SuperMAXX Headers and Exhaust System is fairly expensive but they are absolutely beautiful and well constructed. I was actually quite surprised at the quality, for a bolt on system it was comparable to custom made headers that you would find on racing vehicles. The package arrived with all of the parts, the stainless steel headers, Y-Pipe, for a straight bolt on along with detailed instructions. The system came with very detailed instructions on the installation process and I would suggest that if one is not mechanically inclined they should have it professionally done as Dynatech suggested. The headers themselves fit perfectly, I have absolutely no complaints, however, connecting the Y-pipe to my Corsa exhaust was slightly difficult but not impossible. I did have to eventually take out the exhaust and do some cutting to get the desired fit. This was probably the most difficult and frustrating part of the installation. I think given the quality of the SuperMAXX headers, there is room for improvement with the exhaust system. With that said, I am extremely pleased with Dynatech SuperMAXX Headers and Exhaust System and you can definitely feel the difference.”
